Downtown Merchant Sidewalk Sale and Crafts Fair, All Day!

• 9am to 5pm - Main Street from 9th to 13th, and 10th and 11th Streets will be open to walking traffic only.
• Noon to 2pm - Apple Pie Baking Contest  Entries to 1012 Main Street by 11:30am
• 11am - 4pm - Barbecue Beef Tri-Tip Sandwiches & Drinks  Humboldt County Cattlewomen's Association

• 11am - 4pm Clendenen's Applewood Barbecue  featuring:
  the new All Local Burger featuring local tomatoes, buns, lettuce, cheese and grass fed beef & the Big Dog, a sausage with onions and peppers, both barbecued over Clendenen's apple wood.
• 10am- 4pm - Apple Orchard Haywagon Rides  Narrated tour of the Clenden's apple orchard in continuous production since 1869.

Eel River Valley Health Resource and Wellness Fair at the South Fortuna Elementary School

• 9am – 2pm Presented by Redwood Memorial Hospital - testing and information for all ages. Low Cost Blood diagnostic testing (must fast for blood testing)  from 7am - Noon, Health Fair until 2pm.
• Celebrate 50-years of Redwood Memorial with a 50’s-style sock hop starting at Noon
• Prizes for 50’s costumes and first 50 wellness participants

Open House at the Fortuna Police Department, 11th and L Streets   web site

• Tour the Police Station and see new equipment
• Helicopter Landing!
• Meet Officer Zorro, the new police dog
• Fire hose relays with the FVFD
