CHRISTMAS IN FORTUNA The
Christmas spirit abounds in Fortuna the entire month of December. The
Downtown Merchants decorate Main Street with garlands and lights. Neighborhoods glow with the spirit of
Christmas.
Many of the churches offer Christmas pageantry and worship services. The Christmas Music Festival held in the River Lodge is truly a community event featuring choirs, bands, and other musical groups coming together for a wonderful afternoon of Christmas music. The Fortuna Garden Club sponsors its Annual Home Tour featuring four homes decorated in the Christmas decor. The Redwood Village Shopping Center celebrates an Open House. The Christmas Electric Lighted Parade brings some of the outdoor festivities into the season, culminating in the Downtown Open House.
