Fireworks in Newburg Park!Fireworks in Fortuna! Celebrate Independence Day a little early in Friendly Fortuna with some Family Fun, a BBQ, a little softball and Fireworks on Friday, July 3, in Newburg Park.
Come early for some family fun at the park! A BBQ from 7 pm to 9:30 pm put on by the S.O.S (Supply our Students) committee will help raise funds for school supplies for the five Fortuna public schools, and all proceeds will be donated to K-12th grade students. Bring a glove and a bat and get in on a game of softball or just cheer them on as all ages are encouraged to play just for fun. You are encouraged to bring your own legal fireworks to light off and enjoy with your friends. The fireworks show and fun is sponsored by Wendt Construction.
